On Monday, 21st December we’re asking businesses to illuminate green in support of Samaritans.
Longest Night 2020 is a day where Samaritan volunteers raise awareness of the emotional support services available to those in need.
This year, in such extraordinary times, we need your help. By going green you’ll help raise awareness of Samaritans and the wonderful service our volunteers provide 24/7 365 days per year.
For the past few years we have marked this night to show people that we are there for them during their darkest hours, especially during the Christmas period. We have previously had candlelight vigils around Waterford and engaged with people by handing out awareness materials.
Waterford City and County Council are lighting up 35 The Mall, Waterford and the Devonshire Bridge in Dungarvan.
