Firstly – there is a protocol from the HSA called the Return to Work Safely Protocol which employers must follow. Watch the LCE free on-demand webinar to find out what this protocol requires – follow the attached link or email Karen@LCE.ie to get a link by email.

To help employers comply with the protocol, the HSA have published 5 checklists and a template for preparing your Covid Response Plan – these are available at www.HSA.ie or again, email Karen@LCE.ie for further help.
Finally, the HSA Return to Work Safely Protocol requires employers to appoint at least 1 Covid 19 Lead Worker Representative who is charged with ensuring Covid 19 controls are adhered to in the place of work – this Covid 19 Lead Workers Representative must be provided with relevant training to carry out this role – Covid 19 Lead Worker Representative training is available every Wednesday in the LCE virtual classroom – the course cost of €195 includes attendance at one monthly update webinar.
