The Causeway Group was proud to announce the Grand opening of The Vault Coffeehouse and Winebar in the Apple Market, Waterford by Major John Pratt on Saturday, 23rd November 2019.
In addition to its current businesses in Waterford City and County, The Causeway Group has ventured into a new and exciting concept.
The Vault is offering a premier coffeehouse experience and in addition, a Worldwide selection of carefully chosen Wine (coming soon). We will be open from 8 AM to 10 PM and will offer the finest Colombian Coffee and/or snuggle under a blanket with your favorite bottle of wine accompanied by a cheeseboard and watch the world go by.
We’ve just received this fresh crop washed Colombian from our long-standing partners, Comepcafe.
The coffee is hand-picked then sorted by lot, after this it is pulped and dry fermented for 24 hours.
After the drying, the coffee is washed in channels and is taken to a parabolic drying system where the beans are dried slowly to allow for the development. The beans are measured for moisture content and when they reach appropriate levels the coffee is immediately packed into jute bags.
The secret to the blend is locked in the Vault.
