Ita Leyden speaks at ergonomic risk assessment workshops

LCE’s Managing Director Ita Leyden was guest speaker at four ergonomic risk assessment workshops put on by the Health & Safety Authority around the country.

Posting on her LinkedIn account after the events Ita said “This was the 3rd year I was lucky enough to be involved with the series of national workshops on ergonomics assessment tools run by the HSA – the enthusiasm and interest levels from attendees was brilliant. What was most encouraging was having over 200 professionals interested in improving workplace ergonomics – considering that when I started out working as an ergonomist almost 30 years ago, most couldn’t pronounce the word – not alone understand what it meant!”.
