The Skills to Advance policy will support small and medium-sized enterprises [SMEs] who need some assistance to invest in and develop their workforce. This initiative offers valuable skills development opportunities.
Your employees (full or part-time) may qualify for up to 100% funding to attend these courses as part of the NEW Skills to Advance Employee Development Initiative, which is being delivered through your local Education and Training Board (ETB). Providing flexible, high quality, accessible training, relevant to the changing needs of employees, the economy and industry.

Who is eligible for Skills to Advance?
‘Employees’ that are defined as those who work part-time or full-time under a contract of employment, whether oral or written, express or implied, have recognised rights and duties and are in receipt of pay for their service. Self-employed persons are also included in this cohort.
