The Book Centre

Our only priority at this time is the health, well-being and safety of our staff, their families and our customers. We made the difficult decision to close our doors on Monday 16th March at 6pm.

We know that this is exceptionally difficult time for everyone. We want you to know that we care, and that if you are need something from our store we will do our best to get it to you safely, and in a timely manner. To best serve all our customers we are offering a variety of free home delivery and contact-free order pick up options.

Today we are letting you know that our phone-in order-line 051-873823 is open to order all items in-store from Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm. We also have a selection of Mothers Day Leonidas Chocolates Gift Sets available to order (Mothers Day is this Sunday 22nd March). Please read below to learn about our free home delivery, and contact-free order pick up options.

Over the next few days we will let you know how we can keep you reading, supplied with arts & crafts materials for the kids, home schooling books and revision guides, and staying at home ‘Care Packs’.

1. Website – Order and Pay on our website at www.thebookcentre.ie – open all hours!

2. Shop Order Phone Number – Order any item in our store from School Books, Revision Notes, Stationery, Books and Children’s Books and pay over the phone. Call 051-873823 direct to The Book Centre, Waterford from Thursday 19th March, Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm.

When you phone order The Book Centre team will:

* Take your order, name, contact number and Eircode.
* Compile your shopping.
* Phone you back to verify your bill total.
* Request payment by card.
* Provide details of delivery.

Delivery to Home Options (Contact Free)

1. Free next day, week-day Book Centre delivery on any order of in-stock items over €30 which are phoned or ordered on the website within 10 kilometres of Waterford City (Includes Tramore).

2. All orders outside of this area but over €30 are also free but delivery is by courier (3-5 days).

3. All orders under €30 have a €4 delivery charge or you can avail of our contact-free order pick up from store option.

If it is a phone order The Book Centre team will:

* Take your order, name, and contact number.
* Compile your shopping.

All Mothers Day Gift Sets have free delivery within 10 kilometres of Waterford City (Includes Tramore). Orders need to be phoned in to our order line on 051-873823. Last orders on Friday 20th March for Delivery on Saturday 21st March. These orders can be delivered directly and contact free to a Mothers, or a Grandmothers address.
